The use of Piri Piri for seasoning or marinades is of Portuguese origin, although the Portuguese brought this fruit from Africa, in the XV century, where it grew wildly. A very hot sauce made with red chilli peppers blended with oil and other seasonings. Very Tradicional!

Use to season grilled chicken, red meat, pork and fresh cheese.
