Quinta Seara D Ordens 2014 Unfiltered LBV Port Wine 750ml

Hand-harvest at their best moment the grapes are destemmed crushed and vinified in a careful maceration with extraction of colour tannins and aromas of the pellicles complemented by permanent pumping-over during fermentation. This process takes place in vats at a controlled temperature between 28-30 Celsius until reaching the desired Baume. At this phase grape brandy is added (benefit) originating a fortified wine. A wine of an exceptional quality from a single harvest bottled between the fourth and sixth year after the harvest.

This Late Bottled Vintage 2014 has a unique personality. It was made from the Quintas best grapes slowly foot threaded in lagar as traditional in the Douro Valley. The wine was aged two years in small oak barrels and two years in bigger steek vats.

Deep Ruby colour. In the nose we shall find strenght, complexity and plenty of matured red fruits. In the mouth it is intense, full body but elegant with firm and round tannins, lots of matured fresh fruitiness and a perfect sweetness!Excellent structure and a lingering fruity but dryer finish.
